my first interview

Two days ago, my first interview was posted on the blog The Chapbook Interview - about my chapbook, Tableau Vivant. There is something terrifying & exhilarating about reading the words of your own interview - questions that were asked and answers that were answered and question marks that actually inquire about your thoughts and opinions and advice.

I would call this blog post caffeinated constellations but that would be way too meta

I just like the idea of caffeinated constellations. I like caffeine - specifically coffee - and I like constellations - specifically Orion's Belt. This small phrase is straight out of my chapbook Tableau Vivant - the poem of the same name. I just like the idea of floating through space while sipping on a cup of coffee.

& that's why I named this blog what I did.
